::The short answer is, yes, there is a reason. They are technically different characters from different continuity families (RID and G1). It is discussed more on the [[Talk:Robots in Disguise (franchise)#Car Robots|RID talkpage]]. - [[User:Starfield|Starfield]] 15:29, 4 March 2010 (EST) | |||

Official Ninjas
For future reference, these characters have the function of "Ninja" listed on their Japanese specs:
- Sixshot
- Sixknight
- Road Rocket
- Road Pig
- Mantis (Manterror)
- Tarantulas
- Rarto-Rarta
- Elpha-Orpha (Torca)
- Drancron (Skyshadow)
- Spychanger Hot Shot
- R.E.V.
- W.A.R.S.
- Spychanger Crosswise
- Spychanger Ironhide
- Spychanger Mirage
Although Greatshot's function does not say so, he came from the same ninja clan as Sixshot and Sixknight.
