The Masterforce War[1] is the internal-to-fiction name for the events of the Masterforce series.
The war spans a period of several months between the re-awakening of the Decepticon Pretenders and the defeat of Devil Z.
The year of the Masterforce War has never been established, it could be as early as 2012, or as late as 2024. The Victory manga (set in 2025) seems to favor a later date; when several humans from Masterforce series join the Victory cast they are still roughly the same age they had been when last seen in Masterforce.
