- Snowblind is a Mini-Con from the Energon portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.
Snowblind longs to touch the stars. It had been his long-held dream to explore the many mysteries of the universe, but his inability to realize this goal left him a miserable little 'bot, forever sulking and silent, barely even speaking to his fellow Mini-Cons. In the wake of the Unicron Battles, however, Snowblind finally got the chance to realize his desire, searching space for energon and potential colony worlds in the name of the new Autobot/Decepticon alliance. Alas, the rise of the Terrorcon threat and soon after, the return of Megatron, meant the Snowblind's dream was cut short, as he was forced to return to combat once again.
Snowblind can generate blasts of super-cooled air to freeze his enemies. This ability was amplified tenfold when he underwent an experimental reconfiguration that allowed him to combine with Lens and Quantum to form the Cryo Saber, but the process has also caused a resurgence in his sullen, distant personality.
