- Shockwave is a Decepticon from the War for Cybertron portion of the Transformers: Prime continuity family.

Shockwave is a Decepticon who fought on Cybertron during the early days of the Autobot/Decepticon war. He served as second-in-command to lord Megatron.

Shockwave does not appear in the War for Cybertron storyline campaign. He can only be used if the player pre-ordered the game from Gamestop. Activating a code will allow the player to use Shockwave in Escalation mode, and makes his chasis available for customizing an online multiplayer character for Decepticon scientists. His chasis is labeled as "Retaliator"

Notes
- Shockwave is a homage to the G1 character of the same name.
- A Gamestop commercial describes Shockwave as second-in-command of the Decepticons, and Starscream is never officialy reffered to as such.
