:::::: Aforementioned anon here. Do you think a conventional bomb would make an explosion that big? I mean, bright enough to LIGHT UP THE SKY FROM THE STRATOSPHERE?! Only nukes have that kind of explosive power. [[Special:Contributions/64.189.19.132|64.189.19.132]] 02:55, 13 October 2010 (EDT) | |||

Revision as of 06:55, 13 October 2010
Just to clarify... was this episode ever reran in the United States after 9/11? I don't remember it being, for obvious reasons, but it could've been thrown back into one of the last rerun cycles which I didn't follow.--Speedbreaker 01:40, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
I want to say it got new dubbing to make it superfuel not a bomb or something... Zobovor probably knows. (I'm setting up shells of the first 7 episodes of the series, or one disk of the DVD.) -Derik 01:47, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
I'm pretty sure I saw a redub at some point. It was only once, though, and so long ago. Sorry I can't give more details. -Animus 00:06, 03 December 2007
While on the note of tastelessness, anyone else notice that this episode is about nuclear bombs exploding over major cities in Japan? 64.189.19.132 18:15, 12 October 2010 (EDT)
- Well it was initially written by Japanese for a Japanese audience so if they didn't mind, I don't see why we should get our boxer shorts in a knot. --Detour 18:31, 12 October 2010 (EDT)
- Is the bomb specified as nuclear in Car Robots? --abates 18:48, 12 October 2010 (EDT)
- A very powerful bomb that could do major damage to Tokyo, IIRC. --Lonegamer78 18:53, 12 October 2010 (EDT)
- Well if the nuclear thing is a dub addition... it still doesn't matter, seeing how the dub takes place in the fictional, quite likely American town of "Metro City". --Detour 19:57, 12 October 2010 (EDT)
- It's not referred to as nuclear in RID. S'why I was wondering where the anon got "nuclear" from. I guess if it's powerful enough to cause major damage to the city, it's likely nuclear. --abates 20:02, 12 October 2010 (EDT)
