Neil Armstrong is a NASA astronaut and crew member on board the Apollo 11 moon rocket.

Ghosts of Yesterday prequel novel
Armstrong trained hard for his chosen field of work, and was one of the three crew of the Saturn V rocket Apollo 11 when it launched from Kennedy Space Center in 1969. After successful launch, he reported back to Mission Control that they were on course for the moon. Unknown to anyone involved, at the same time the far more advanced spacecraft Ghost 1 was being launched from the Sector Seven High Arctic Base in the north Arctic. Ghosts of Yesterday
