The Matrix Flame priest is a spiritual Autobot from the Marvel Comics portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Deep within Autobase beneath the ruins of Iacon, the Matrix Flame priest tends the living embodiment of the Creation Matrix. His sacred duties may involve using its connection to the Matrix to bring new Autobots to life.

The priest was performing his rites and bowing before the Matrix Flame when, due to Optimus Prime's abrupt relocation to the Limbo dimension, the connection to the Matrix was severed and the flame flickered and died. The priest was very upset by this. Target: 2006

Notes

  • He's probably not a "priest" in the strictest sense of the word, but he does look like one.
  • Maybe it's because of his rather fetching robe.
