Synopsis

On the alternate Cybertron from which Over-Run originated, he prepares to depart in the Null-reality pod with the Mini-Con Matrix. Zapmaster urges the clearly reluctant Over-Run to go, as their Cybertron has been almost entirely consumed by Unicron. The Mini-Con Matrix is their legacy, the one hope of stopping the chaos-bringer, and they now bequeath it to another Cybertron. If their sacrifice is to have any meaning, Over-Run must survive.

In the present on this universe's Cybertron, the ghostly Starscream has apparently killed Over-Run and shattered the Mini-Con Matrix. The Omnicons arrive and attack Strascream, who absorbs their energon weapons.

On Nervissa, Unicron's Four Horsemen resolve to return to Unicron, since their allegiance is to him, not Alpha Quintesson. However, Alpha anticipates their rebellion and sends them to the Autobot/Alterenergy Mars base. There, Carlos searches for Kicker and cautions Rad that while their early warning sensors are trained on Earth, they're vulnerable to attack. Rad is driven to find Kicker though, since he disappeared on Rad's watch. Carlos states that Kicker must still be on Earth since the planetary shield inhibits space bridge transportation.
