Light Speed was to have been an Autobot. It's possible that he pursued and captured people and really liked to race. It's also possible that his true background was so imperative to the Autobot cause that it was rendered entirely in secret code. Who's to say?

- From his Real Action Pop-Ups 3-D Transformer Trading Card mock-up, "Light Speed" appears to be a yellow and blue version of Power Master Ironhide. His function and motto were taken from Blowout, while his bio is boilerplate gibberish.
Notes
- Aside from Light Speed, packaging mock-ups featuring a yellow and blue Power Master Ironhide also exist bearing the names Belzone and Pothole. Which of the three, if any, would have been the character's final name is unknown. It's quite possible he was never meant to be a character at all, though where his art would have come from in that case is a mystery, being that Power Master Ironhide was never redecoed...
