Mitsuo Iwata (岩田 光央, Iwata Mitsuo) is a Japanese voice actor who was born in Tokorozawa, Saitama, Japan on July 31, 1967. He is married to Rikako Aikawa, the Japanese voice of Strika.
He is probably best known as the voice of Kaneda from Akira. He has also voiced Mic Sounders XIII from King of Braves GaoGaiGar, whose singing voice (Masaaki Endoh) is one of the members of JAM Project.
