Mitsuo Iwata

Mitsuo Iwata (岩田 光央, Iwata Mitsuo, born July 31, 1967) is a Japanese voice actor. He is probably best known as the voices of Shotaro Kaneda from Akira, Sunny from Toriko, Itsuki Takeuchi from Initial D, Marcosias from Shaugakan no Shaina, Maa-kun from Oruchuban Ebichu, Champa from Dragon Ball Super, Emporio Ivankov on One Piece (succeeding Norio Imamura in the role), Cubot in the Sonic the Hedgehog series, Cyborg 008/Pyunma in Cyborg 009: The Cyborg Soldier, Zaboera in the 2020 Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai anime, K in Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and Mic Sounders XIII from King of Braves GaoGaiGar, whose singing voice (Masaaki Endoh) is one of the members of JAM Project.

In dubbing, Iwata voiced the titular character of Disney's Peter Pan, Pip in Enchanted, Incrediboy/Buddy Pines in The Incredibles, Lowery Cruthers in the NTV dub of Jurassic World, Teddy in the Fuji TV dub of Stand By Me and Liu Kang in the DVD dub of Mortal Kombat.

He is married to Rikako Aikawa and his cousin is Ignition! singer CHINO.
