The name or term "Drift" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Drift (disambiguation).
Drift is an Autobot in the Shattered Glass continuity family.
You can't see me!

This character has no official visual representation in any Transformers product or media... yet, at least.

Dressed in red (and presumably black), Drift is known as a "Merc with a Mouth".

Timelines Drift is a redeco of Generations Drift, in red with white highlights. Rather than the swords that came with the original Drift toy, he comes with the guns that came with Generations Blurr.
The doors of his vehicle mode have the Chinese/Japanese character 永 (yǒng in Mandarin, wing in Cantonese, or nagai/tokoshie'ni in Japanese), which means "eternity" or "long" in both languages.
This mold was retooled into Generations Blurr.

Notes

  • The phrase "Merc with a Mouth" is used to describe Marvel Comics' Deadpool. G1 Drift being a silent, sullen, moody, dark anti-hero ninja, it's most fitting that his Shattered Glass opposite is a manic, fourth-wall breaking anti-villian with a thing for Bea Arthur.
