June returned home from work late in the evening to find her son, Jack, standing with a motorcycle in their garage. She wondered how Jack had paid for the motorcycle, plus expressed her concern for his safety, but Jack was able to convince his mother that he was old enough and responsible enough to operate the vehicle. She made it very clear that he has to always wear his helmet.
Early the next morning, the motorcycle told Jack to leave a note for his mom when he left the house, to keep her from worrying. Darkness Rising, Part 2

Notes
- Nothing so far indicates that there's a Mr. Darby around, but it's not been stated outright that one is not. The way the second episode's dialog is written makes it very unlikely. Maybe when Jack asks Arcee not to wake up his mom, he just doesn't care if she wakes up his dad! For what it's worth, in Crisscross, Silas calls her "Miss Darby", but Agent Fowler calls her "Mrs. Darby".
- She was to appear in a brief scene in "Shadowzone" but the scene was cut. It was later included in the script reading at BotCon 2011.
