The Republick of Karin is a nation in the Masterforce portion of Generation 1 continuity
The Republic of Karin includes several of the Karin Islands located in the southern Philipines. The republic of Karin is a tropical paradise implausably untouched by modern technology, including electricity.
Fiction

ep 2 Cab, the hereditary prince of the Republic, joined the Autobot Headmaster Juniors after the Karin Islands were targeted by the Decepticons, who believed its isolated nature would allow them to capture slaves without interruption.
Electricity finally came to the republic of Karin when a tidal power plant was built on the neighboring Viscas Island to supply power to the continental southeast Asia.
