| This article is about the Power Core Combiners Decepticon. For the Generation 1 Autobot, see Undertow (G1). |
- Undertow is a Decepticon Commander from Power Core Combiners.

Undertow used to be just another stupid, angry grunt in the Decepticon army, but then he went through the Power Core process and... Well, actually he's still stupid and angry, but now he's strong, too. And now those smug jerks who think they're so much smarter than him are going to pay.
Undertow probably dislikes Drydock.

Power Core Combiners
- Undertow with Waterlog (Commander Class, 2011)
- Part of the fifth wave of Power Core Combiners Commander Class figures, Undertow transforms into a speedboat armed with non-firing gatling guns. He also has a third super-robot torso mode compatible with all Power Core Combiners drone-limbs. Through Powerlinx ports, his Mini-Con partner Waterlog can be attached to him in vehicle mode (as a gun emplacement) or robot mode (as chest armor). Undertow's torso mode has a head resembling an old-fashioned diver's helmet.
- Wave 5 only barely made it out to normal retail at first, meaning most fans had to get him from online stores. At the back end of 2011, the later Power Core Combiners started showing up at discount chains, and then by late November, ToysЯUs got a fairly large amount of the wave 4 and 5 2-packs.
- This mold was also used to make Marinemaster.
- Power Core Combiners Value Pack (2011)
- Undertow and Waterlog were made more readily available at retail as part of a Walmart-exclusive Black Friday "Value Pack", combining a 5-pack team with a Commander 2-pack via packaging tape and a couple of stickers, and costing all of ten dollars. Wow.
- Undertow has been found attached to the Double Clutch/Rallybots and Grimstone/Dinobots sets.
Transformers (2010)

- Drydock vs Undertow (Multi-pack)
- Accessories: Blaster, Key
- Undertow is a redeco of Cybertron Scout-class Shortround, transforming into a troop-carrying military hovercraft. Inserting a Cyber Key into his key jack swings a pair of (non-firing) torpedo racks up into firing position from his rear turbines. This gimmick is available in both vehicle and robot modes. His extra blaster plugs into a squared peg-hole on the top of his hovercraft mold, and into the sides of his lower clamps in robot mode.
- This mold also used to make to make live-action movie Storm Surge, which was later repurposed as Shattered Glass Seaspray and re-released as Universe Storm Surge. It was also used as the model for pre-beast-mode Scorponok in "Theft of the Golden Disk".
- Undertow would have been available in a two-pack with Drydock, a Revenge of the Fallen Depthcharge redeco, but the only information on this set comes from a set of instructions on Hasbro's website. As these instructions are in black and white, it's unknown what colors Undertow would have been, though they do reveal that his Cyber Key would have been an Earth-type one.
