Project: Centurion was originally sponsored by EDC founder Nathaniel Faireborn, but he eventually decommissioned it upon realizing the dangers of letting Transformer technology fall into the hands of the military. Twenty years later, Colonel Witwicky decided that human technology wasn't powerful enough to stand up to hostile Transformers, and ordered Marissa Faireborn to reinitialize the project. The Route of All Evil

The story never continued due to the bankruptcy of Dreamwave Productions.
