Why is Ginrai's toy called a "remold of Powermaster Optimus Prime" when all the evidence seems to point to the contrary? I would go in and change that right off, but I want to make sure no one's going to object and switch it back before I do.--[[User:MCRG|MCRG]] 07:04, 31 January 2007 (UTC) | Why is Ginrai's toy called a "remold of Powermaster Optimus Prime" when all the evidence seems to point to the contrary? : We know for a fact that Powermaster Prime was the first version and Ginrai was the modified come-after. :: The concept art contradicts that, judging largely on arm design (even the PM Prime mock-up in the '87-'88 catalogs for PM Prime use the Ginrai arms, for instance). Revision as of 08:26, 31 January 2007
Should the human Ginrai,a nd the Autobot Ginrai (Who becoems Victory Leo and LioConvoy) have seperate entries? What about Shuta Goh and Goshooter?
I mean- they becoems seperate characters at one point. (It's a footnote thign for the others, but kidna big deal for Ginrai.) -Derik 01:51, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
Dreamwave
Man, I totally forgot that in Dreamwave continuity, Optimus Prime's Powermaster is named Ginrai. And he's a scientist dude, like Hi-Q. This will be messy. --ItsWalky 15:15, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
- Haaactually... IIRC... wasn't his named spelled "Jinrai"? That's enough of an excuse for a separate article to avoid the mess in my book! :) - Chris McFeely 16:29, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
- If you're talking about the Dreamwave dude, it was Ginrai, just like the American reissue's name. --ItsWalky 16:17, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
- Aw, phooey. Wonder why I thought it was spelled with the J...? (EDIT: Tsk, not signed in.) - Chris McFeely 16:29, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

- Ehh, throw in a note int he Dreamwave section noting he's signifigantly different in DW continuity.
- Hey McFeely, I've been meaning to ask, does Digimon Savers get any less... shite after the first episode? -Derik 16:57, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
- Well the thing is, Dreamwave/reissue Ginrai is just Hi-Q with a different name. The MTMTE profile has Hot Rod describe him as "a brilliant scientist and programmer... he can be a little stuffy sometimes, but he's a pretty stand-up being." Furthermore, he's a Nebulan. --ItsWalky 17:07, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
Victory Leo
Maybe Leo should have his own seperate article. For example, he's the same character as Ginrai in the cartoon, but completely seperate in the manga. Plus, there's enough content in regards to Leo to fill an entire article of his own. --DrSpengler 22:34, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
- I'll trust your judgment on this. Go ahead! --ItsWalky 23:11, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
- I vote separate on the grounds of manga-dom. --M Sipher 23:35, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
- Mmn, I figured that'd be how we'd roll, but at the time I had a good flow going and just really couldn't be bothered to stop and make two articles. :) Well, it's basically all written now, anyway, and just needs moved over. When anyone is bothered. With some pictures. - Chris McFeely 23:47, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

Toys
Why is Ginrai's toy called a "remold of Powermaster Optimus Prime" when all the evidence seems to point to the contrary? I would go in and change that right off, but I want to make sure no one's going to object and switch it back before I do.--MCRG 07:04, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
