Headmaster episode images
Hey, did you accidentally skip over "The Dormant Volcano Mysteriously Erupts"? —Interrobang 04:34, 10 January 2012 (EST)
- I did watch it. I must have just forgotten to upload some screencaps for that page. I'll pick some out tomorrow! --abates 05:12, 10 January 2012 (EST)
Outside linking
Abates, how do I tell if an image or redirect has an outside/off-site link pointing to it? I want to delete [[:Image:LiveActionJazz-Skywarp01.jpg|this]], but it's pretty old, so I don't know if there might be any links to it. (Probably want to keep the talk page, tho.) --Monzo 20:13, 20 January 2012 (EST)
- I used to use Yahoo siteexplorer to find links to pages, but Yahoo shut it down now because they're using Bing's database. Now I generally just google the url or just the article/image name to try and find links to it, which isn't ideal. I can't find any to that particular image, anyway! --abates 20:24, 20 January 2012 (EST)
Daniel
Oh my god finally! Do you know how long I've been staring at that Headmasters section, telling myself that I really need to write it up over and over again because no other bastard was ever going to punish themselves that much and yet never being able to will myself into it? AND even though he's in like every damn episode it's still a super-concise write-up that isn't stupid-long and over-detailed like a lot of more recent characters suffer from! My hat, sir! It is off! To you! - Chris McFeely 05:10, 23 January 2012 (EST)
- Thanks! Nice to know I wasn't the only one bugged by that empty cartoon section. :) --abates 05:51, 23 January 2012 (EST)
A silly favor
Hey, could you fill out the articles for Tlalak and Brobdingnag (plus Aagar and Chief Lanarqan, I guess)? It's been bugging me that all of the other G1 cartoon planets except those have filled-out articles. I would do it, but I don't really have access to any of the G1 episodes with captions. Sorry if this comes off as too forward! —Interrobang 00:21, 20 February 2012 (EST)
- Oh yeah, I can do that! --abates 00:31, 20 February 2012 (EST)
- Thank ye! —Interrobang 03:04, 20 February 2012 (EST)

excuse me, why did you delete a lot of my image? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Shockwave1704 (talk • contribs).
- Apparently you did not read your talk page. There are multiple issues with the images you have been uploading and you need to read this page here which explains that images need to have non-generic names - you uploaded an image called "jolt.jpg", but there are six different characters named Jolt. You must also provide a proper description and copyright templates for each image. Uploading them with no description is not helpful - you uploaded this picture of Thundercracker without saying which issue it was from or who drew it. --abates 17:31, 12 March 2012 (EDT)
but you haven't deleted my thundercracker's photo and i wanted to change the name joltuser:Shockwave1704
i read my talk but the translation in Italian is terrible and i don't understand ituser:Shockwave1704
- I'm sorry I don't speak Italian, and I think you may find it difficult to edit here if you can't understand the rules of the site. Communication is very important on a wiki. :( Normally I hate to refer people to other sites, but have you considered working on the Italian Transformers wiki? I see it is only very small at the moment and needs a lot of help. --abates 17:57, 12 March 2012 (EDT)
Thank you friend. user:Shockwave1704
can you check if my new page are good?user:Shockwave1704
there isn't a longarm(dotm) page --Shockwave1704 08:37, 16 March 2012 (EDT)
- Isn't the Dark of the Moon Longarm just Longarm (Movie)? --Khajidha 10:07, 16 March 2012 (EDT)
yes, i've got some photo of IDW transformers longarm, but there is a problem dialogs are in Italian not in English --Shockwave1704 10:20, 16 March 2012 (EDT)
Did somebody ask for Rescue Bots subtitles?
Saw what you said about The Natives of Tatui. I got all Rescue Bots episodes (as well as all the Prime episodes) recorded thus far, and so I have access to the closed captions. If ya need any help with spellings from either, let me know. --Sabrblade 13:14, 16 March 2012 (EDT)
- Oh, awesome, thanks! Can you check the spelling on Edgar Pruitt's last name please? And probably Buffkin's name too. They're both from phone calls Chief Burns takes around the middle of the episode. --abates 17:21, 16 March 2012 (EDT)
- CCs spell them as "Mr. Bufkin" and "Mrs. Prewett". Other townspeople names from the episode are spelled "Mr. Perkins", "Milo", "Mrs. Niederlander", and "Mr. Pettypaws" (her cat). And, the spelling for device Cody got in the Flobsters episode is "Comtab" (or maybe "ComTab"? It's spelled as one word, but the CC letters are in All Caps, making it difficult to tell what should and shouldn't be capitalized). --Sabrblade 09:32, 18 March 2012 (EDT)
- Awesome, thanks! --abates 18:09, 18 March 2012 (EDT)
