The Masterforce War (マスターフォース戦争 Masterforce Sensō)[1] is the war between the Autobots and the Decepticons focusing on the Godmasters and Devil Z's attempts at harnessing their power to conquer the universe. The war spans a period between the re-awakening of the Decepticon Pretenders and the defeat of Devil Z.

Notes
- The year of the Masterforce War is unknown, it could be as early as 2012, or as late as 2024. The Victory manga (set in 2025) seems to favor a later date; when several humans from Masterforce series join the Victory cast they are still roughly the same age they had been when last seen in Masterforce.
