Hydrofoils are devices used by Transformers with ground alternate modes to move across water.

The Autobots made use of hydrofoils, newly installed by Wheeljack, to reach a wave-powered electrical station. The Ultimate Doom, Part 1 Cliffjumper used his hydrofoils to join Tracks and Seaspray in dealing with some time-displaced pirates. Dinobot Island, Part 2 They were deployed again when the Autobots needed to reach the area of ocean over Sub-Atlantica. Atlantis, Arise! A number of Autobots cruised in to New York City by hydrofoil.
