After the end of the Great War, Krok's team of "expropriation specialists" were scavenging energon and spare parts from the Decepticon corpses on Clemency. Misfire's insistence on sampling the harvested energon backfired when he took some from a Monstercon that had overdosed on circuit speeders, leaving him more than a little...wired.
