Arcee and a friend uncover a feat of Decepticon engineering intending to destroy the Autobots.
Synopsis
- The Nemesis flies through space. On the bridge, Arcee is dragged before Starscream who's interested in decrypting an Autobot signal he's intercepted. While Arcee tells him where to go, Starscream reveals he has another prisoner—Cliffjumper. Arcee claims to barely know Cliff and continues to hold out.

Continuity notes
- This episode retells the prequel story told in the IDW graphic novel. The story's still about Arcee and Cliffjumper learning about Optimus Prime on Earth, uncovering a Decepticon plot to reestablish forgotten space bridge technology, Cliffjumper pretending to forfeit to the Decepticons as a cover for Arcee's hijinks, and them running for the space bridge portal to Earth while being blasted at by Decepticons. However, how each of these things occurs happens in an incompatible way, and the story shunts responsibility for the space bridge project to Shockwave instead of Starscream.
- Cliffjumper is here voiced by Billy Brown, whose imitation of Dwayne Johnson generally sounds quite convincing.
- Bulkhead survives to the point the he's regained conciousness, but can barely walk.
Transformers references
Cliffjumper mentions getting lost in the Sea of Rust, which did sort of happen in Fall of Cybertron, and was, kind of, separated from his unit (if you count two bots as a unit). However, Cliff DID have Jazz to talk to.
