Cybertronian sport

Cybertronians, both Autobots and Decepticons, are known to engage in Cybertronian sports. Several are well documented, including gladiatorial combat, mecha-soccer and various races. In fact, the Autobots helped organize the first Galactic Olympics during a time when they thought the Decepticons defeated and the great war over. Bar games

Some generic Decepticons were shown to indulge in darts and arm wrestling during their stay at Maccadam's Old Oil House. Out to Lunch! Whether these activities should be classed as sports is a matter of contention here on Earth (and the prevailing Cybertronian opinion remains unrecorded) but they are included here for the sake of completeness.

Cards

Rattrap has been seen playing holographic card games, but it is unknown what games he was playing. Power Surge

Praxus Fold 'Em

Praxus Fold 'Em is an addictive chip and card game on Jungle Planet. Brimstone and Undermine are avid players and use Energon goodies and the swapping of chores as prizes between them. Brimstone's Cyber Key Code text

Fullstasis

Analogous to chess on Earth, "Fullstasis" is apparently both the name of this game and what one says upon victory, like "checkmate". It's played on a diamond-patterned board and includes pieces called a "Quarg" and a "Vig". Nightbeat and Siren played Fullstasis (or a game very much like it) aboard the Ark shortly before Thunderwing attacked. Assault on the Ark! Gutcruncher and Hubcap played Fullstasis in Axiom Nexus. Jackpot accidentally used his luck-warping field to send Gutcruncher's hand into superposition, meaning that Hubcap lost 53,000 credits on the game. Gone Too Far

Hunting

Mirage was known to hunt turbofoxes before the war broke out. Additionally, Sixshot makes reference to "shooting cyber-ducks in a barrel." If the phrase is analogous to the comparable English phrase, it would imply that cyber-ducks are hunted by Cybertronians. The Rebirth, Part 1

Both Hot Rod The Transformers: The Movie and Beachcomber Island of Fear have revealed a fondness for fishing while on Earth, and Longtooth indulged in a spot of whaling on Pequod. Deadly Obsession It is unknown whether these activities have a Cybertronian equivalent.

Lobbing

Bulkhead and Wheeljack both indulged in a sport called "Lobbing", a game popular amongst the warrior class on Cybertron. The game is played similarly to the human game of catch, albeit with a large, heavy ball of metal. In order to keep up his cover Makeshift, disguised as Wheeljack, played this game with Bulkhead at Autobot Central Command. Con Job

During a broadcast of Around Cybertron, Andromeda hosted a segment with some Lobbing champions, and managed to hit Bishop in the head. Around Cybertron #18

Pole vaulting

Millions of years before the human race even existed, the Transformers were already organizing pole vault competitions. Five Faces of Darkness, Part 4

Races

Transformers are well known for participating in races, which might explain why they so readily participate in human races, such as the Europa 2000, "the greatest automobile race in history" and numerous others.

The Iacon 5000

The Iacon 5000 is a race involving 50 circuits of a 500 mile track. It used to be a traditional race, but the Decepticons decided that it would be more fun if some elements of a demolition derby were added. Known participants include Jazz and Drag Strip.

Velocitron's races

The planet Velocitron is known to host several planet-spanning super-races, including the Speedia 500 and the Planet Cup. In fact, the winner of the Planet Cup becomes the planet's ruler and receives the planet's Cyber Planet Key as a prize.

Other races

The planet Cybertron has various racing seasons, with multiple championships per season. Races are combination foot and vehicular mode contests, with obstacles that appear after the races begin. Champions are treated as celebrities and can parlay their success into upgrades to help them win additional races. Retro-wing gliding

Tear'n'chase

Tear'n'chase is a game similar to hide and seek. One mech runs or drives off and the rest of the party follows some time later. They have to find and catch up with the runner. While it is obvious when the chasing party wins, it is unclear what the requirements are for the runner to win. Either there's a time limit per game or the runner has to find a way past the party back to the starting point to win. The Age of Wrath Pt.3
