An Ursagryph is a type of Predacon which resembles a cross between a bear and a falcon. Known Ursagryphs include Grimwing, Darksteel, and Budora.

- According to a statement at Toy Fair 2013, the Ursagryph is toy designer Lenny Panzica's favorite mythological creature, and the design basis of Grimwing, and thus that of Darksteel and Budora as well. The Ursagryph is a wildly obscure product of modern fiction, so you're unlikely to find a non-Transformers mention of it without a deep dive into Google.
