Scatman Crothers (born Benjamin Sherman Crothers, May 23, 1910, to November 22, 1986) was an American singer, musician, voice actor and number one super guy. He is often recognized for his roles in films such as The Shining and The Twilight Zone the Movie and for his voiceover performances such as Scat Cat in Disney's The Aristocats, Pappy and old Man Bone in Ralph Bakshi's Coonskin, and as the title character in Hong Kong Phooey.
