The mech-venom sting is a deadly ability possessed by several creepy crawly Transformers, capable of causing a Cybertronian's systems to shut down completely.

[edit]Scorponok's energon sting became a mech-venom sting when he was corrupted into Dark Scorponok. Along with his claws, mech-venom was Dark Scorponok's primary weapon.
Dark Scorponok almost killed Sentinel Maximus after injecting him with mech-venom during their fight at Kalis Primary Energon Reserves Control. Because Vector Prime got the facility's security system back online, Dark Scorponok was taken out, allowing Sentinel Maximus to recover from the mech-venom. Balancing Act, Part 4
