The mech-venom sting is a deadly ability possessed by several creepy crawly Transformers, capable of causing a Cybertronian's systems to shut down completely.

Scorponok's energon sting became a mech-venom sting when he was corrupted into Dark Scorponok. Along with his claws, mech-venom was Dark Scorponok's primary weapon.

Dark Scorponok almost killed Sentinel Maximus after injecting him with mech-venom during their fight at Kalis Primary Energon Reserves Control.
