I think this is an important category to have, but much of it will have to be decided on a case-by-case basis if we expand it to "anyone who travelled to any other dimension/universe other than their own." For example, we've got a whole franchise based on characters who we assume may or may not have dimension travelled, unless you figure that since Unicron himself houses his own dimension, they never went into anyone else's timeline? Okay, the terminology itself is just confusing.
But then there's, you know, nearly the entire cast of Cybertron that visited Gigantion, which is in another dimension.
