- Switchblade is a Decepticon from the Marvel UK portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Switchblade has a subtle way of telling people not to get too close- he's covered the exterior of his body with jagged metal-rending spines. Despite this prickly exterior, Switchblade has forged a close bond with his partner Ripsnorter, creating a devastating battlefield combo.
Switchblade carries a thermo-laser blaster magnetically clamped to his left thigh.
Fiction
Marvel Comics continuity
Switchblade appeared exclusively in the UK portion of the Marvel Comics continuity.
Prior to the Ark's launch, Switchblade was assigned to Fort Scyk.
He and his unit were sent to attack a Neutralist holdout in the nearby town of Yuss. They were ambushed by an Autobot infiltration unit.
Switchblade was struck from behind with an incendiary missile. The explosion (combined with his flying spines) destroyed his partner Ripsnorter as well. The Magnificent Six!
