As if an almost unbeatable arsenal was not enough, Optimus Prime also has his energon hooks if he wants to make things more daring in ways that swords can't.

Revenge of the Fallen film
To help NEST combat Demolishor, Optimus Prime was sent to Shanghai by plane. Deploying from the plane that was transporting him in vehicle mode, Prime used three parachutes to reach the ground safely, whereupon he cut the parachutes with his energon hooks.
