Megatron unleashes Cosmic Rust on the Autobots.
Synopsis
Heading for Cybertron, Megatron and his men find an old Autobot colony on which the population has been wiped out. They discover the Lightning Bug, a powerful weapon which Megatron immediately takes, intending to use it on the Autobots. He soon discovers that he and his men have been infected with Cosmic Rust, and steals Corrostop, a cure developed by the Autobots. With the Decepticons cured, Megatron inflicts Cosmic Rust on the Autobots, who must retrieve the remaining sample of Corrostop from the Statue of Liberty, so that they can replicate some more with their Matter Replicator. The Decepticons blockade the statue in an attempt to prevent the Autobots accessing the cure, but Gears and Beachcomber manage to sneak past and retrieve a Corrostop sample, which the Autobots then use to cure themselves.
