- Protoplasm strippers are Cybertronian technology from the Marvel Generation 2 portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The protoplasm stripper is a cylindrical device meant for separating the worthwhile parts of organic creatures from the rest. Evidently, it's something you'll see the Decepticons use a lot more than the Autobots. The only version shown so far was designed for humans of the size range as seen on Earth, but it's likely versions for other sizes exist as well.
Most of the protoplasm stripper is made of diaphanous material so its user can keep an eye on the disassembly process.

To Megatron's surprise though, Biggles-Jones didn't like the idea of "corporeal change" and refused to be put into the device. Sucker Punch The Autobots arrived before Megatron could work it out with the doctor and it took a while before he could try again. The second time was also interrupted by the Autobots, and then, Megatron even lost his protoplasm stripper.
