Maura the Magnificent

Maura the Magnificent is a human from the Rescue Bots cartoon portion of the Aligned continuity family.

No mere lovely assistant is she.

Maura the Magnificent is a famous magician, employing both conventional and technological trickery in her act to produce all manner of illusions. She has twin assistants to pull off deceptive switches, and even includes a trained white tiger named Blizzard. Her brother, Doc Greene, occasionally supplies her with tech for use in making the impossible appear possible.

Maura employed Evan and Myles as assistants, unaware of their criminal backgrounds. She returned to Griffin Rock to pick up some invisibility cloaks which her brother had created for her and to ride over Griffin Falls in a barrel, a trick her grandmother Lorraine had once intended to do. An attempted performance of Maura's magic act was interrupted by Chase, who was unaware that she was not really skewering her assistant with swords. Back in her motel room, she took delivery of the new technology from Doc, and demonstrated a trick for Cody and Frankie before they all went to dinner. They arrived back to find the rescue team at the motel room which had caught fire — thankfully Blizzard was safe but the two cloaks were gone.

Later Maura was preparing to do her variation on the barrel over the falls trick when she got the news that her assistants had been arrested for theft, having used the cloaks to rob the townsfolk. Maura successfully pulled off the barrel trick, which she'd modified so she didn't have to actually be in the barrel when it went over the falls, however she slipped during her reveal afterwards, and was only saved from a real plummet over the falls by Chase.
