Rattrap's love for toys turns him into a giant toy.

Synopsis

Rattrap—avid Beast Wars fan, toy blogger and Axalon Trading Company employee—wakes up one morning to find he's turned from his usual comedic self into a real Transformer! He's elated by his ability to transform into a robot, though his aunt Arcee is shocked, prompting him to explain away his appearance as cosplay and head to work as normal. His co-workers are also spooked by his new body, especially when he shows off the cool gun and bomb that came with it, and take him to see Doctor Bump who diagnoses him with a "Transformers sickness" caused by surrounding yourself with Transformers. Optimus Primal orders Rattrap to throw out his toys so he can recover, but he refuses, telling his boss he's fine with his new body, and goes straight back to buying more toys.

Notes

• Toys in Rattrap's collection include a Break, a Seasaur, an Optimus Primal and a Guiledart. The one he buys in the end is, of course, the Legends Rattrap toy this comic came packaged with.
• Arcee's appearance as Rattrap's aunt is a reference to Rattrap's "my great-aunt Arcee" line in "Transmutate".
• On the train with Rattrap are Kelly from Robots in Disguise and real-life TakaraTomy employees Shogo Hasui and Hisashi Yuki, the latter pair previously seen in the Transformers Celebration 2014 chapter of the Legends webcomic.
• Ravage previously appeared as a toy store clerk in the first issue of the webcomic.
