    Legends World

    [edit]

The Yuki of the Legends World was among the Transformer toy designers present at the Transformers Celebration 2014, where they handed out autographs. Rattrap, who admired him for his work on Lio Convoy and Big Convoy, was elated to get him to sign his toy of Optimus Prime. Legends Bonus Vol. At some point, Yuki was riding the train with Shogo Hasui and the two were taken aback by Rattrap's new robot body. LG01 Rattrap Much later, Yuki was among the citizens eaten by Trypticon and used as a living battery. LG43 Trypticon

After the Legends World was destroyed, Yuki ended up on the G1 World's Cybertron in 2038, where he witnessed Violengiguar's attack. The Road to Legends' Revival Chapter 2 After that threat was dealt with, Yuki watched on as the Autobots, Zamojin, and Legends refugees restored the universe. He was one of several people whose wishes were channeled through White Leo's MVP Weapon to aid in the recreation. Epiloge

    Trivia

    [edit]
    • Of all the toys Yuki has designed, 2001 Robots in Disguise Optimus Prime holds a special place in his heart. He was responsible for coming up with the "shake hands" combination sequence between this Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus, and even went to a series staff meeting to ask the director personally to ensure the scene would be featured in the Omega Prime combination sequence.
    • He designed MP-4's trailer in one night<ref name="mp4trailer"/> and MP-5 Megatron in twelve days.<ref name="mpmegsdev"/> He really wants to do MP Ginrai.
    • When he designed the Universe Sunstreaker and Sideswipe toys, he disagreed with Hasbro's concepts and instructions that both robots would be exactly the same, only differing in their heads. He came up with the simple (yet very effective) idea of turning the torso around to give the two Autobot brothers their distinctively different torso designs.
    • Yuki was responsible for naming the Unicron Trilogy the "Micron Trilogy" in Japan.
