Notes
- This ability should not be confused with combiners, which combine separate characters into a single machine.
- Other Transformers exist that are able to split into component forms in the same manner as Magmatron. Those Transformers, for the most part, were introduced before the concept of sparks entered into fiction. Notable examples are the Duocons and Sky Lynx. The two aforementioned examples have been retconned into having mitotic sparks, but this may not apply to all multi-component Transformers.
