IDW Generation 1 continuity
A ship carrying Autobots from Caminus visited Marasma, where Firestar acquired some Black Diamond to colour her hair and the actor Vertex was infected with personality ticks. After draining Vertex of her charisma and killing her, the ticks spread to the Vis Vitalis where Skater, Flex and Borer deduced their origin and devised a way to defeat them. The Frail Gaze
