Also, what about when Transformers materialize things in their hands from thin air with a flash of light? Like in "Plague of Insecticons", Kickback makes a gun appear in his hand with a bright flash of energy. In the season 3 bumpers, Blurr does the same thing with his gun. I'm sure there are other examples. Anyway to explain that away?
