General Frankel is a human from the G.I. Joe vs. the Transformers portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Have you seen me?

This character or person needs some sort of visual representation. If you have one, please replace this.

When it comes to the United States military, General Frankel is way up there in the hierarchy. If there is a chance for his country to obtain some advanced alien technology, he won't pass it up.

G.I. Joe vs. the Transformers

General Frankel was one of five higher-ups in the U.S. army that had kept tabs on Cobra ever since the terrorist organization had launched an attack on the United Nations, using Cybertronians as weapons. G.I. Joe eventually managed to cripple Cobra’s operation thanks to the help of the Autobots Wheeljack and Bumblebee, but the Generals were more interested in reverse engineering the Cybertronians’ tech than making friends with aliens. They decided to nuke Cobra’s base of operations, despite several Autobots still fighting there, and have Wheeljack and Bumblebee taken to Area 51 for vivisection. Hawk refused to go along with their plan however, and took his “prisoners” to Cobra’s headquarters to stop the nuclear strike. G.I. Joe vs. the Transformers #4 Ultimately, the Cybertronian technology did make its way to Area 51 as the remains of several Decepticons were recovered. G.I. Joe vs. the Transformers #6
