This article is about the vehicle. For the character, see Vamp.
VAMPs are vehicles from the G.I. Joe portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The VAMP is a ground vehicle in G.I. Joe's extensive arsenal. It's a jeep-like Multi-Purpose Attack Vehicle outfitted with a double-barrelled machine gun in the back, and is usually found in the hands of Clutch. Despite appearances, the name doesn't appear to be an acronym for anything.

A VAMP was in use during an attack on a Cobra smuggling facility in New York City, with Clutch in the driver's seat and Rock 'n Roll manning the machine guns. It was then blown away by the enemy's Flight Pods. Targets of Opportunity

  • The Epic Conclusion! box set (2013)
    • Accessories: 2 gas cans, field shovel
Part of the 2013 San Diego Comic-Con exclusive crossover set, this vehicle is a redeco of the 2008 VAMP mold from the G.I. Joe toyline, deco'd up to represent Hound. He can seat two G.I. Joe figures, and features a rotating and elevating gun turret on its back, plus his hood can be popped up to reveal his "holographic projector" machinery underneath. He also has storage for two gas cans in a rear rack, and a small shovel via clip on his hood.
The set includes a Jetfire-themed Skystriker, an Autobot-allied Snake-Eyes figure, a Baroness figure with Ravage on a leash, a Blaster boombox with cassette pieces representing Steeljaw, Ramhorn, and Eject, and a G.I. Joe-figure version of Bludgeon.
The box set was announced via a USA Today article on June 5, 2013, along with Hasbro's other Comic-Con exclusives. The set was made available on Hasbro Toy Shop in October 2013, although the set sold out almost immediately.
