IDW Generation 1 continuity
Hot Rod led a team of Autobots to Ki-Aleta in search of the Magnificence, and located it inside the Omega Bunker on the planet's surface. Spotlight: Hot Rod While the team was betrayed by Dealer, Hot Rod escaped with the Magnificence and hid it on top of a giant rock formation before leaving the planet.
