- Rear Axle is a band from the Robots in Disguise portion of the Aligned continuity family.
Rear Axle are a bunch of refugees from the '80s a cheesy glam-rock band, who play a lot of songs about fighting for justice and never giving up. What the band probably doesn't know is that an extraterrestrial life-form is one of their biggest fans.
Fiction
2015 Robots in Disguise cartoon
Bumblebee first learned about the band during his first trip to Earth, and became one of their most devoted fans. Denny Clay was also a aficionado of the band.
During his second mission on Earth, Bumblebee headed to the Crown City Rumbledome as part of a stakeout. He and Russell Clay wound up facing off against Bisk, who had crashed the same concert to try and steal a soundboard. The two Cybertronians wound up brawling on stage in front of the band, who believed that the combatants were just humans in elaborate costumes. Bumblebee managed to defeat Bisk, and even got to pose with the band! Bumblebee's Night Off
Notes
- The members of Rear Axle are still alive and giving tours during the time of Robots in Disguise, suggesting a relatively short timespan between the end of Prime and the beginning of Robots in Disguise.
