Wheel Blaze

Wheel Blaze is an Autobot Micromaster from the Generation 1 continuity family.

"I'll pet the kitty!"

Wheel Blaze is the perfect calm, competent soldier. Or at least, that's his PR. In truth, while he may be strong and smart, and a pretty competent planner, in an actual crisis he is anything but helpful, something he either doesn't notice or won't admit to. In the field, his cry of, "I'll handle this!" is the cue for his combiner partner, Roadburner, and the rest of the Metro Squad, to start wondering how to fix the impending mess.

In Japan, Wheel Blaze is the leader of the Fire Tanker W Team.

Commercial appearances

Wheel Blaze, Roadburner, Missile Master and Moonrock were among a group of Autobot Micromasters that managed to infiltrate the Decepticon headquarters. Megatron tried to stop them, only to be confounded by their ability to separate and recombine in their vehicle modes. They then shot Megatron in the face. Micromaster Combiners commercial

Generation 1

• Metro Squad (Micromaster Combiner Squad, 1990)

Wheel Blaze transforms into a wheeled truck which is intended to be the front half of a yellow fire engine, which he forms with his combiner partner Roadburner. He can, of course, combine with any other Micromaster Combiner to form a new vehicle, as well as connect to any Micromaster Combiner Transport. He was only available in a Squad pack with Roadburner, Power Run, Oiler, Slide, and Strikedown.

Return of Convoy

In Japan, Wheel Blaze was part of the Return of Convoy Fire Tanker W Team. All four components were identical to their Hasbro releases. The group also came with Micro Trailer #5.
