When Professor Purnel began to suspect that his assistant, Zeke Heilmann, was really a spy seeking to steal his work for a foreign power, he hired flambert to pose as the European Security Advisor. In this role, Flambert attended a personal briefing on Purnel's invention: Purnel's Auto-Reverse Defence, or PARD.
