Fiction
IDW Generation 1 continuity
During the reight of Zeta Prime, Hefter aspired to be an astrophysicist, but was reduced by his alt-mode to be a loader. Inspired by their message, he joined the Decepticons and became a gunrunner. He was soon arrested and placed into police custody where he was killed by Outback. Following his death, a protest erupted outside of police headquarters, asking for justification.
