[[Twelve-of-Twelve]] and his [[Functionary|Functionaries]] were rounding up AVL dissidents when they encountered the universally-displaced crewmembers of the ''[[Lost Light]]'' and naturally assumed they were simply more or the rabble-roousers to be arrested. Other AVL memebers, led by [[Clicker]], attempted a rescue, but only succeeded in proving they were terrible at the whole resistiance-fighter thing, needing to be saved by the Lost Light crew. Unfortunately, they don't seem to be very good at physical resistance, not putting much of a fight against the [[Functionary |Functionaries]].

The Anti-Vocationist League (AVL) stands in opposition to the Functionist Council, supporting the freedom of the oppressed. Unfortunatly they're not very good at this whole resisitance thing. Many of them have "Redundant" alt-modes, such as data-sticks, the Lunabots from the astro class, and those who have fixed their alt-modes to look like Rung.

Twelve-of-Twelve and his Functionaries were rounding up AVL dissidents when they encountered the universally-displaced crewmembers of the Lost Light and naturally assumed they were simply more or the rabble-roousers to be arrested.
