Flex is an Autobot serving aboard the Lost Light. He's pals with Skater and Borer.
Fiction
IDW Generation 1 continuity
Flex and his friends huddled at Swerve's during Overlord's massacre through the Lost Light, tending their injuries. No Guns, No Swords, No Briefcases
Having left the Lost Light to attend a "pre-wake" for Thunderclash on board the Vis Vitalis, Flex, Skater and Borer realised that the Autobot leader's affliction was actually being caused by parasitic personality ticks from Marasma, unwittingly brought aboard by Firestar and the other Camiens. After deducing that enough concentrated charisma in one place would cause the creatures to overload and self-destruct, they called Rodimus and Megatron over from the Lost Light, killing the personality ticks and saving the day. Later, they celebrated with some drinks during an "EarthDance" indie disco at Swerve's. The Frail Gaze
