Caleb Awan is a technological genius and co-founder of DeepWave Technologies. Unfortunately, his identity and body were hijacked by a Dire Wraith, and now he is the leader of the evil wizards present on Earth.

Wraith-Caleb struck a deal with Miles Mayhem, agreeing to help him dominate Earth in exchange for being supplied with Ore-13. Once a sizable cache of the stuff was discovered beneath Autobot City in Monument Valley, Mayhem informed Caleb, who powered up with his last piece of Ore-13 and led his Dire Wraiths in an attack on the city, fighting its defenders alongside Mayhem's M.A.S.K..
