- Skip is a Decepticon from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Skip was a Decepticon who was part of Deathsaurus's forces. His duty may have ended in death, but his usefulness didn't.
Fiction
IDW Generation 1 continuity
Skip was under Deathsaurus' command when Deathsaurus allied with Tarn and the Decepticon Justice Division to kill Megatron on Necroworld. The Permanent Revolution He was one of many Decepticons who were killed during the battle. Rage, Rage.
Later Rodimus presented Skip's corpse as a means of getting the stranded Lost Light crew off of Necroworld, as Skip's alternate mode was a spaceship, and recent events in the Functionist Universe had demonstrated that the use of forced mass displacement would allow him to be made large enough to ferry most of the crew. When Rodimus asked for guesses as to what Skip turned into Swerve suggested that he turned into a ("purple, because Decepticon") wormhole, because suggesting he turned into a skip would be beneath even Swerve's sense of humor.
