Kunio Okawara (大河原 邦男 Okawara Kunio, born December 26, 1947) is a mechanical designer in the anime industry, notable in being the first person to be credited as such. Most famous for working on the Gundam series, his contributions are proflific in multiple mecha shows, including the Brave series.
He was brought on by Takara during the mid to late 1980s contribute to Transformers designs
