Kunio Okawara (大河原 邦男 Okawara Kunio, born December 26, 1947) is a mechanical designer in the anime industry, notable as being the first person to be credited as such. Most famous for creating the designs for the :}}Mobile Suit Gundam| series, the Brave series, :}}Invincible Steel Man Daitarn 3|, as well as :}}Armored Trooper VOTOMS|. Putting it mildly, he's worked on more mecha anime than we can list here!
He was brought on by Takara during the mid-to-late 1980s to contribute to Transformers designs.
